Now with 17 wickets in 8 matches, Fazalhaq Farooqi of Afghanistan continues to lead the wicket-taking rankings in the T20 World Cup 2024 as of June 27, 2024. Afghanistan’s performance in the competition has been much aided by Farooqi’s extraordinary consistency and skill at picking vital wickets. However, they are out of the competition, they lost the semi final against South Africa.

With 15 wickets in 6 matches, Arshdeep Singh of India stays a major player following Farooqi, demonstrating his significance and efficiency in the Indian bowling lineup. With 14 wickets in 8 matches, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has shown his world-class leg-spin and his great performance.
