Royal Challengers Bangalore i.e. RCB batsman Virat Kohli has violated the rules of IPL. He did this against Chennai Super Kings and that is why BCCI has given him severe punishment.

A fine of 10 percent of the match fee has been imposed. Kohli admitted to a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

The decision of the Match Referee is final and binding for Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct. In such a situation, there will be no further hearing on this, but he will have to pay a fine of 10 percent of the match fee.
